If I had the chance to meet and spend a day with a designer of my choice, I would have to say it would be Ann Demeulemeester. Her ability to use predominantly a monochromatic palette with minimal highlights of colour, yet creating something new and captivating each collection, astounds me. Her gothic touch and sensual layering evoke a combination of femininity and strength. Not only is her clothing amazing, I also love her jewellery collection, which she launched in 2007.
